Hello Danile – the sale of alcohol is controlled in Dubai. There are shops you can buy it from (African and Eastern, and MMI) in order to do so you first must have an alcohol license. Each of these shops has the forms and can guide you through the process. The drinks sold there are subject to 30% tax so it is always worth buying from Dubai Duty Free on your way into the country.

well ..i m going to move to dubai at the end of the year and after reading i just want to ask a question . can we buy wine, beer or alcohol in shops like others countries or we have to drink only in bars or restaurants .? COULD YOU ANSWER TO ME PLZ . THX AARON

I have also eaten at the yacht club upstairs,like you told was a lot of people with happy hour.

hi aaron,
just back from dubai harbour hotel was great fantanstic view on observatory restaurant level 54
i saw many workers on project silverene now,it was also in gulf news,just near the mall not far from the walk,only the weather was not so good last days,thunderstorms. ,visit also cayan office at emaar building,malls,time was too short
